When was 'Project Tiger' launched in India?

Note: UPPSC deleted this question in its final answer key. Project Tiger was formally launched on 1 April 1973 (Jim Corbett National Park), on the recommendation of a task force set up in 1972. No option is exactly right; 1972, the closest, is marked here.
