Under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, Hyderabad was the common capital of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for up to ten years, so in 2016 Hyderabad was the capital, as the official key marks. (Andhra Pradesh was building Amaravati as its new capital, which is now its capital.)
