Information we collect
- Account details: your name and email address when you sign up.
- Practice data: the tests you attempt, your answers, scores, time taken and bookmarks.
- Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and how you interact with the site, collected through cookies and session-recording analytics (see the Cookie Policy).
- Messages you send us, for example when you email support.
We do not collect passwords. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To run tests, save your progress and show your results, analysis and rankings.
- To understand how the site is used, fix problems and improve our tests and features.
- To reply to your questions and send essential service emails such as sign-in codes.
We do not sell your personal information.
Leaderboards
Leaderboards may show your name alongside your score and rank for a test. If you’d rather not appear by name, contact us.
Sharing with service providers
We use trusted third parties to host the site, send email and analyse usage (including Smartlook for session analytics). They process data only on our behalf and under appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Data retention and security
We keep your account and practice data for as long as your account is active, and delete or anonymise it within a reasonable time after you ask us to close your account, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no online service can be completely secure.
Your rights
Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent. Email support@nextmock.in and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
NextMock is meant for exam aspirants aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please use the site with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use NextMock after a change means you accept the updated policy.
