RRB NTPC · Question 22
How many bones does a new born human baby have?
Show answer & explanation
Answer: (A) 305
Explanation
A newborn baby has about 270–300 bones (often quoted as up to 305), many of them made partly of cartilage. As the child grows, several bones fuse together (for example in the skull, spine and pelvis), leaving 206 bones in an adult skeleton.
