Kishlay travelled equal distances at speeds of 10 km/hr, 30 km/hr and 2 km/hr and took total time of 38 minutes. Find the total distance in Km.

Explanation

Let each part be d km. Time = d/10 + d/30 + d/2 = d(3 + 1 + 15)/30 = 19d/30 hours. This equals 38 minutes = 19/30 hour, so d = 1 and the total distance = 3 km.
