RRB NTPC · Question 75
A rope is divided in to three different parts. The first part is 1/5 of the whole length and second part of the rope is 3/2 of the first part. Third part is what fraction of the rope?
Show answer & explanation
Answer: (C) \(\frac{1}{2}\)
Explanation
First part = 1/5; second part = 3/2 × 1/5 = 3/10. Together = 2/10 + 3/10 = 1/2, so the third part is 1/2 of the rope.
